The Hillside House in California by SB Architects
The Hillside House is architecture design of single family residence was designed by SB Architects. This modern wooden house design located just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. This is natural custom home design ideas, situated in the hills of Mill Valley, California and the first LEED for Homes Platinum certified house in Marin County, and one of only a handful in the state of California.
The Hillside house is a four story building features living and private zones situated on multiple separate floors. Numerous outdoor and covered terraces and balconies capitalize on stunning views of the bay and the San Francisco skyline beyond.
Designed by Scott Lee, majority partner at SB Architects, this home is a statement of what is possible combining “high design with high sustainability.” Recently completed, this project represents the collaborative effort of a visionary group of partner companies, who have come together to bring this first-of-its-kind project to Marin County. The steep hillside site provides for a very vertical design with living and private zones situated on multiple separate floors. Numerous outdoor and covered terraces and balconies capitalize on stunning views of the bay and the San Francisco skyline beyond.
